The Les Mis Anon Kink Meme, Round 6
exit pursued by javert

Since LJ seems to have finally capitulated to the Russian government and is now subject to Russian anti-obscenity laws, I'm not going to take a chance on sudden deletions. The Les Mis kinkmeme now lives at https://lesmiskinkmeme.dreamwidth.org/. (Round 6 here.) Everything has been backed up there. The LJ kinkmeme will stay up, but is now closed to new comments.

Re: Prouvaire/Byron

Hm, Byron was living in Italy until 1823? Prouvaire was probably born sometime 1805-1810, I'd imagine, so taking the earlier end of that, he could meet Byron in the early 1820s as an impressionable teenager, which would be either adorable, dreadful, or a bit of both.
(And his parents are not happy about either Byron or the bear)

*kind of wants to do this now, wanders off to read up on Byron*

OP is delighted by the adorable and dreadful possibilities of Byron meeting an impressionable teenage Jehan!

The bear is absolutely essential; I do not imagine the Prouvaires would be pleased about it. Byron actually kept a pet bear on campus with him, which proved to be upsetting to the faculty.

AYRT

The bear is obviously essential! Both for the parental reaction and because the idea of teenage Prouvaire and a bear cub is just too much adorable.

Also I think the bear is even more essential in the light of the fact that Wikipedia just informed me of the existence of a fairytale called Jean de l'Ours.
